Syntropy Soft Synth Offers Mathematical Modeling, MPE Support, Microtuning

SonicModeler has introduced Syntropy, a new software synthesizer for Mac and Windows that generates sound through mathematical modeling rather than traditional oscillator architectures.

They say that the synthesis system is designed to support both precise control and exploratory sound creation, ranging from conventional synthesizer timbres to evolving textures and experimental sonic structures.

The instrument supports expressive performance workflows through MPE compatibility, microtuning capabilities, and multisample export functions for integration with other software environments. Syntropy is available as a standalone application as well as VST3 and CLAP plugin formats for modern production workflows.

Features:

  • Custom mathematical functions are included alongside standard mathematical operations for sound generation
  • The instrument is designed for experimental sound design and synthesis workflows
  • MPE performance control is supported
  • ROLI 5D controller compatibility is included
  • Microtuning support is provided
  • 500 factory preset cover basses, leads, pads, effects, and other synthesizer sounds

Syntropy is available now for €59.
