Berlin School Synth Jam With SynthR10 Synthesizer

Synthesist Kurtz Mindfields shared this Berlin School style synth jam, featuring the Synthr SynthR10 synthesizer, which is expected to be released later this year.

Here’s what they shared about the performance:

For this final demo, I’m using only the SynthR10 in two live sessions:

1 – Left-hand sequencer / / Right-hand melodies and effects

2 – Xpad polyphonic pad accompagment.

All reverb and delay effects are internal.

Details on the SynthR10 are still to come at the Synthr site.

Octatrack Performance Mixer In-Depth Demo

The Elektron Octatrack is notoriously difficult to wrap your brain around – because it can do so many things and be used in so many ways, but you have to configure it.

Fortunately, Elektron guru Matthew Piecora (aka EZBOT) has released a new tutorial that digs into the idea of using the Octatrack as a performance mixer. It’s an hour+ deep dive, with lots of musical examples.

If you’re an Octatrack owner, you’ll want to check this out, because Piecora shares lots of great insight. Check it out, and share your thoughts on the video and the Octatrack in the comments!
