Tubbutec Introduces DIY Custom MIDI Controller Solution

Tubbutec has introduced Tubbutec Custom Controller, a new option for creating custom hardware MIDI controllers.

Using their online Controller Designer, you can design and configure custom MIDI controller, featuring sliders, buttons, knobs, LEDs and more.

A full color image can also be uploaded and printed on the panel.

u-he Introduces Quad VCO, Zebra 3 & More At Superbooth 2026

At Superbooth 2026, u-he presented a GESPRÄCHSKONZERT (Lecture Concert), featuring their new Quad VCO Mode firmware update for their CVilization module, an upcoming filter module and the newly released Zebra 3.

The lecture begins with a live performance demonstration, and is followed by a discussion of the new hardware and software.

Roland TR-1000 Update Expands Sound Design & Performance Options

Roland has released a free firmware updated for the TR-1000 drum machine, expanding its sound design and performance capabilities.


Here’s what’s new in Roland TR-1000 version 1.20:

  • New MFX include SP-303 and SP-404 Vinyl Sims, Cassette Sim, and DJFX Delay, adding new ways to shape and texture your patterns.
  • LFO functionality has also been enhanced, with new modes for more controlled, rhythmic modulation.
  • Version 1.20 introduces new ACB sound generators for powerful 808 and 909 bass tones, alongside workflow improvements like independent layer panning, updated gain staging, and expanded MIDI control.
