Korg Prologue Synthesizers Get Expanded Synthesis Capabilities

Sound designer Scott McAuley has released Elixir Volume 1, a new sound library and user oscillator collection for the Korg Prologue line of synthesizers.

Elixir features three new custom multi engine oscillators, and 5 wavetable oscillators, expanding the sonic capabilities of the Prologue:

  • DXOSC – This is an FM Oscillator with 25 Algorithms, Adjustable 2:1 Ratio, Adjustable 3/4:1 Ratio, mod generator (LFO) with 24 Shapes, Speed Control & Depth Control.
  • TZFM – This is Built with dual waveforms A&B – A has 46 wave shapes, B Has 44, TZFM can be sent AtoB, or BtoA, with depth control, adjustable Ringmod, and adjustable Bitcrush, you can also set for NO tzfm if you purely want to utilise the 90 different waveforms, the shape knob fully left is Wave A, centre is Wave A&B mixed, Fully Right is Wave B, so you can mix and match as you like.
  • STEPr – is quite similar to TZFM, but has the additional feature of being able to step through each of A & B’s waveforms per note pressed, you can step A only, or B only, or both A&B together, These also have the option to dial in some TZFM for adding some crunch / dirt, they also have adjustable ringmod mix, and adjustable bitcrush mix. Like the TZFM Osc, you can also set for NO tzfm if you purely want to utilise the 90 different waveforms, the shape knob fully left is Wave A, centre is Wave A&B mixed, Fully Right is Wave B, so you can mix and match as you like.

Elixir Volume 1 is available now for £39.99.
