First Love – a new FM synthesizer design that’s been described as “the first to make FM synthesizers accessible and understandable to users” – is now available to pre-order.
LOVE Synthesizers’ FIRST LOVE is a standalone electronic instrument that combines FM synthesis with touchscreen and tactile controls.
The sound engine supports up to four simultaneous instruments or timbres, with polyphonic and monophonic operation, custom FM connections, wave shaping, morphing envelopes, modulation, and effects.
The instrument also includes tools for creating and switching between musical scales, including microtonal tunings, along with a riff-based arpeggiator, MIDI looping and arrangement functions, and a 4×4 live looper.
