Ellitone Groov~e Console Groove Synthesizer
Ellitone shared this video demo of the Groov~e Console, described as “a fun and mysterious interactive drum-machine and polyphonic-synthesizer”.
It automatically generates musical “grooves”, consisting of 3 individual sound layers: a drum-machine layer, an ambience-sample layer, and a polyphonic-synthesizer sequence layer. Each layer can be individually tweaked or swapped out.
Groov-e generates original rhythms and note patterns using a complex series of decision-trees and probabilities. A “nearly infinite” number of possible note patterns and rhythm combinations are possible.
