Sound Particles introduces SkyDust 3D, The First Synthesizer with Full 3D Audio Support
Sound Particles has introduced SkyDust 3D, a new virtual instrument with full 3D audio support.
SkyDust 3D lets you incorporate spatial effects into your patches, using the Spatial Sequencer, Spatial Envelope Generators, Spatial LFOs and more. For example, you could use MIDI aftertouch to control 3D position, use EGs to control the movement of each note, use an LFO to change the elevation of notes or create an arpeggio that moves through space.
SkyDust 3D Overview:
“Spatial audio has been in the domain of mixing for a long time,” notes Nuno Fonseca, Sound Particles Founder & CEO. “Now, SkyDust 3D brings spatial audio into the domain of the musician.”
SkyDust 3D supports more than 30 output formats, including stereo, 5.1, 7.1, 7.1.2 (Dolby Atmos), 9.1.6, Ambisonics (up to 6th order), Binaural (3D sound over headphones), among many others.
