Developer Sinan Bokesoy shared this preview of sonicLAB Cosmosƒ FX8, a major update to the unique stochastic audio processor for Mac and Windows.
Cosmosf FX processes live audio with sophisticated delay buffer handling and sampling features, using a stochastic event generation system.
It features a complex network of delay lines managed through a hierarchy of multiple time scales, advanced DSP code, powerful morphing engine and vast modulation possibilities.
You might remember that Wolfgang Palm – founder of PPG (Palm Products GmbH) and pioneer of digital and hybrid synthesis approaches – announced that he was retiring a few years ago.
It looks like he still has new ideas he wants to explore, though, because he shared this preview of a new WaveTerm project, based on the CommBusTerm from Michael Indlekofer.
