Designer & synthesist André Gonçalves has released a new album Offbeats, that turns module tests into tunes.
The album originated with his testing of the ADDAC406 Clock Bender Eurorack module.
This module introduces a unique approach to rhythm, adding complexity to any pattern by superimposing extremely odd divisions, creating syncopation and rhythmic complexity.
The Clock Bender is designed to provide extensive possibilities for rhythmic creation.
Technical Details:
Gonçalves used up to 3 ADDAC406 Clock Benders to trigger samples, throughout several sessions while testing the module’s firmware.
Samples come from ADDAC112 and Erica Synths Drums. External reverb used, with minimal post processing.

Sound designer Scott McAuley shared this preview of a new sound library for the Korg Prologue.
The sound library is based on three custom Multi-Engine Oscillators that he created. They include:
A 4-Operator FM oscillator.
A Thru Zero FM Osc, with Wave A having 46 Waveforrms and Wave B having 44 waveforms all within the osc. For TZFM it has the the ability to send waveforms A to B or B to A, which gives “endless” sonic opportunities.
A dual Wave A&B, again each with 64 completely different waveforms, This Osc includes a Step Modulator which will step through the 64 waveforms per note played.

Isla Electronics founder Brad Holland shared this preview of a major firmware upgrade for the KordBot Music Production Assistant.
The KordBot is a hardware MIDI controller designed to simplify songwriting and music production by making chords, scales, and harmonic progressions easy to explore. It features an illuminated keyboard, chord buttons, strumming ribbon, and built-in arpeggiator. With USB, DIN, and Bluetooth MIDI connectivity, KordBot can control hardware synths, software instruments, and DAWs.
