MidiQ lets us know that they’ve released a browser-based preset editor for the Behringer BCR2000 and BCF2000 MIDI controllers.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
“I’m a one-man indie developer, and I originally built this for myself because I found mapping the BCR2000 to my vintage Yamaha SY-99 using existing legacy apps to be a bit tedious. I wanted something fast, simple, and truly platform-independent, so I ended up building BCEditor; a modern, completely browser-based preset editor for the Behringer BCR2000 & BCF2000
It runs entirely via WebMIDI with zero installation or drivers required. I also added a basic cloud library so users can easily share and save their presets. The editor is entirely free to use (there’s just a small optional fee if someone needs unlimited cloud storage, which just helps me cover the server hosting).”
The patch editor for the Behringer BCR2000 & BCF2000 MIDI controllers is available now as a free, browser-based application.

Frap Tools has released a firmware update for their Magnolia keyboard synthesizer that expands memory slots, adds new MIDI capabilities and more.
Here’s what’s new in Frap Magnolia v 1.10:
Adds 200 memory slots, bringing the total to 400.
Adds full CC implementation (in and out) over every parameter.
Adds MIDI over USB.
Adds user-definable velocity and aftertouch curves with 11 degrees of hardness/softness.
Adds the possibility for the user to define the LED brightness. It is possible to choose two factory presets (high or low brightness), or to define a custom user setting with independent controls over the red, white, orange LEDs and the display.
Fixes a bug that prevented the keyboard to retain the parameter value after the Static Value display was used.
Fixes a bug that played wrongly incoming MIDI notes.
The new Magniolia v1.10 firmware is available now at the Frap Tools site.
