Ploytec Revival, New Mod brings USB 2.0 Compatibility to Legacy Devices

Ploytec -Audio specialist has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its latest USB audio format converter, Ploytec Revival.

Ploytec Revival promises to being modern USB 2.0 compatibility to legacy audio devices. Here’s what they say about it:

“How many practical devices – mixing consoles, DJ decks, controllers, and many others that sound great and provide exciting performances and creative workflows, unfortunately, fall out of their computer-based application when suddenly the USB protocol is no longer supported by new computers.

Ploytec Revival provides a good connection again.”

The first version of Ploytec Revival will support the DJ mixing consoles XONE:2D, XONE:4D, and XONE:DB4. Other products with USB protocols that no longer work on current computers will follow in the future; Ploytec Revival can be updated via USB.

Production of Ploytec Revival is being funded via a Kickstarter Campaign, and it is available to project backers for about $206.

*Note: Crowdfunding projects can involve risk. See the project site for details.
