Free MONOLIT, Software Synth, for iOS, Mac and Windows

BLEASS celebrate World Music Day with a free plugin monosynth.

On World Music Day, BLEASS has released Monolit, a free software synth that they are calling “the free synth with an expensive sound.”

They say Monolit is tailor-made for creating “thunderous basses, searing leads, sparkling arpeggios and other-worldly SFX.”

Monolit is a monophonic synth with a clean, uncluttered interface that is available as a plugin to use in your DAW, or a standalone app to run on iOS. The synth is equipped with two oscillators that output continuously variable waveforms, FM capabilities, a multimode filter with slope and drive controls, built-in arpeggiator and surprisingly versatile LFO.

In addition, the synth is capable of unison with up to 7 voices for producing those big, fat analogue-inspired sounds, and there is a dice tool for parameter randomization, helping you inject some indeterminism into your sound design.

Monolit is available now as a free download for iOS, Mac and Windows, or as an iOS app downloadable from the App Store.

“It is free to download, forever!” they note. “It’s our way to thank all of the community that has been supporting BLEASS for so many years. You rock!”

Download Monolit at BLEASS website.
