Arturia Pure Sub Is A Bass-Focused Synth Designed For Modern Low-End

Arturia’s new Pure Sub is a synthesizer designed specifically for creating modern bass sounds, from clean 808-style subs to distorted Reese basses, wobbles and more experimental low-end textures.

Its architecture separates the sound into three independently controllable stages — sub, harmonics and texture — allowing producers to shape the fundamental, harmonic content and additional noise or texture separately.

The instrument combines synthesis, filtering, distortion and dynamics processing in a single environment, with extensive modulation and support for MPE expression.

Features:

  • Three independent sound stages: Sub, Harmonics and Texture
  • Dual-mode synthesis engine
  • 40+ filter modes
  • Dedicated Sub Processor for bass-focused processing
  • Integrated FX rack with distortion and filtering
  • Maximiser with loudness, pumping and clipping modes
  • Sub Regen for restoring the fundamental after processing
  • Three envelopes and six customizable modulators
  • Modulation of modulation amounts
  • MPE and full keyboard expression
  • Noise and texture processing for improved bass audibility
  • Preset randomization and resampling capabilities

Pure Sub is available now for $49 USD (normally $79).
