In this video, via Sonic State, AJH’s Allan Hall offers an overview of the RadioPhonic modular synthesizer.
Originally commissioned by composer & synthesist Hans Zimmer, this modular setup was designed for the new Radiophonic Workshop at Medieval Studios. It offers the sonic capabilities of a Minimoog Model D, but in an expanded modular format.
The RadioPhonic System is available for purchase at £15,000, including VAT.
At Superbooth 2026, Experts Sleepers introduced two new modules, NTX-8CV and Forever.
This video, via Sonic State, offers a preview of the new modules from the Superbooth floor:
The NTX-8CV is a 4HP Eurorack module with three quite distinct purposes: USB MIDI to CV converter, USB audio/CV interface & disting NT output expander.
Forever is an audio freeze/infinite sustain effect based on the “Temporal Freeze” algorithm on the disting NT. Three independent freeze voices each have their own gate input and toggle switch, and so can be triggered manually or by CVs from other modules.
Pricing & Availability:
NTX-8CV will be available summer 2026, priced at UK £179 (inc VAT), US $219 (exclusive of sales tax), EU €172.25 (exclusive of VAT).
Forever is expected to be available Q3 2026, with pricing to be determined.
Superbooth 2026: In this video, via Bonedo Synthesizers, Body Synths previews their upcoming Laboratory dual-channel effects processor and feedback synthesizer.Four feedback paths sit at the core of the Laboratory. You can route signals, control delay repeats, or add gritty textures. If you push them far enough, the system enters self-oscillation, even with no input. From there, every control reshapes the feedback into anything from subtle drones to harsh noise.
Two channels
Each channel features three voltage-controlled effects: gain, delay, and filter. You can run the channels in series or in parallel. And you can combine both channels to create multi-tap or ping-pong echoes.
The Resonant Filter provides Low-Pass and High-Pass modes. Chain the two channels in series to create Band-Pass responses. A final clipping stage at the end of each channel adds compression and distortion when driven to extremes.
The Laboratory offers a global Modulator that can operate as either an Envelope or an LFO, with two positive and two negative CV outputs. Patch them to build effects like tremolo, vibrato, chorus, moving stereo filter sweeps, modulated delays and more.
The Body Synths Laboratory is still in development, with details on pricing and availability to be announced.
