At Superbooth 2024, held May 16-18 in Berlin, composer & synthesist Matt Johnson (Jamiroquai) gave a Gesprächskonzert demonstrating the Yamaha Montage M8x.
Johnson has chops to spare, and does a great job not just of showing what the Montage M8x is capable of, but showing the expressive possibilities of Yamaha’s flagship synthesizer.

At Superbooth 2024, held May 16-18 in Berlin, Analog Sweden introduced the CRUM2, the first production synthesizer created by instrument designer Love Hultén.
Hultén is known for creating custom, one-off synth designs with a unique mid-century modern style. With the CRUM2, he’s collaborated with Analog Sweden to create his first mass-produced instrument.
The CRUM2 is described as a ‘generative percussive harmonic device’. It’s part synth and part drum machine.
