SynthR10 Analog Synthesizer Hands-On Demo

Synthesist KurtzMindfields shared this demo of the new SynthR10 analog synthesizer.

The analog synthesizer hand-assembled in France, each piece is unique and of exceptional quality.

The SynthR10 is a new 10-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer.  Each audio channel consists of two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) using SSI2130 circuits, with cross-modulation allowing interaction between the two VCOs. A sub-oscillator completes this section to enrich the spectrum in the low frequencies.

The signal then passes through two filters: a low-pass filter based on an SSI2140, and a multimode filter using an AS3320, offering great flexibility in sound processing.

The stereo output is routed to a dedicated board incorporating two effects circuits. The audio chain is purely analog apart from the LFOs, envelopes, and effects, and is controlled by control voltages.

Features:

  • 10-voice polyphony,
  • Split with 5 voices per editable zone,
  • Layer with 5 voices,
  • Unison from 1 to 10 voices,
  • 5-voice arpeggiator in split mode,
  • 5-voice polyphonic sequencer in split mode
  • Looper: MIDI event recorder including notes and controls.

The SynthR10 Analog Synthesizer is available now for €3990.
