Arturia MiniFreak 3.0 Update Adds 8 New Synthesis Engines, Sounds & More
Today, Arturia introduces Minifreak firmware 3.0, a massive free update that adds 8 new synthesis engines, granular-focused samples, an expanded factory bank, and more.
Here’s what’s new in Arturia MiniFreak 3.0:
The new synthesis engines include:
- Cloud Grains: textural grain effects for rich, immersive sounds.
- Hit Grains: rhythmic stutters or rapid-fire bursts of grains for explosive sound effects
- Frozen: craft ethereal, infinitely sustained sounds.
- Skan: stretch your samples to their limits for infinite time-shaping possibilities
- Particles: generate intricate layers of random sound particles for hypnotic effects
- Lick: create fast-paced percussive rhythmic grooves
- Raster: from beat repeat/chopping effects to hypnotic, randomized rhythmic sequences
- Sample: sample player with loop and reverse sample features
