New Plugin, Drummer-1, Streamlines Beat Making On Mac
CRB Labs has introduced Drummer-1, a new drum pattern generator plugin for macOS (VST3/AU) that’s designed to create genre-specific drum patterns in a single click.
Drummer-1 generates drum patterns algorithmically, while offering hands-on editing, humanization controls, and the flexibility to export either MIDI or audio.
“I wasn’t good at programming drums,” said Carl Brunson, founder of CRB Labs. “I could write melodies, lay down chords, shape a mix – but drums always slowed me down. When I started noticing that a lot of drum programming follows patterns, I kept thinking: this could be generative.”
