MFX motto Brings Hardware Effects To iPad

ALM Busy Circuits has introduced MFX motto, a multi-effects plugin for iPad, based on their MFX Eurorack Module, Guitar Pedal and Desktop plugins to the iPad, with the ability to now chain multiple effects.

Effects include:

  • QuaidraVerb – 90s rack-style reverb with airy tails and era-specific crunch.
  • Almicon Reverb – Bright 80s digital reverb with modulation.
  • Digi-PCM Echo – Early digital rack delay with multi-tap and modulation.
  • Tape-Tech Echo – Tape-style delay with wow, age, and lo-fi pitch shift.
  • TY-50 Dynamics – Compressor/expander with sidechain and tilt EQ.
  • Multi Phaser – Classic multi-stage phaser with notch and LFO control.
  • Ensembles Ensemble – Chorus/ensemble with pitch shift and stereo width.
  • Modulating Panner – Clockable auto-panner with scan and offset.
  • Pocket PL8 – Metallic “plate” reverb with freeze and gate.
  • Slinky Reverb – Spring-style reverb with echo-like tails.
  • 2051 Bit Corrupter – Glitch looper simulating broken digital gear.

*Note: MFX motto is an Audio Unit Effects Plugin (AUv3), which requires a compatible host or DAW to work such as Garageband, AUM etc. It does not work as a standalone app.

MFX motto is available now for $14.99.
