Gamechanger Audio has introduced the Plasma Voice synthesizer module for Eurorck modular systems.
Plasma Voice is a monophonic Eurorack synthesizer module that takes Gamechanger Audio’s Plasma sound engine to the next level by turning the current transformer and tube driver circuit into an analog high-voltage oscillator.
Its core sound is produced by sending precisely controlled electrical discharges between two electrodes within a xenon-filled gas tube.
The electromagnetic energy emitted by the discharges is then transformed into audio signal through a specially designed inductor and audio rectifier circuit. The result is a diverse range of electrifying tones that they say “capture the character and intensity of a vibrant blue electrical arc.”
The Plasma Voice is available now to pre-order for € 412.
Moog Music has released a new artist performance video from the Moog Sound Lab, the studio space and ‘electronic playground’ at its headquarters in Asheville, NC.
The video features Belarusian-turned-LA post-punk trio Molchat Doma, performing Na Dne, At the Bottom, the opening track from their second studio album. The group has a modern take on the classic ‘80s synth-driven sound.
In the performance, the band uses Moog One, Moog Grandmother, and a Novation 49SL MKIII to build the track’s melodic leads and bass.

Organizers of Superbooth had announced that tickets for Superbooth 2024, being held May 16-18 in Berlin, are now available.
Superbooth is an international event for electronic musicians that features exhibits, live music performances, presentations and more.
Ticket pre-sales for Superbooth are open now. Each ticket allows entrance to the entire day of the event, from 10 am – 10 pm, and all the exhibit areas. One-day tickets are € 39, while three-day tickets are € 98. Reduced prices (€ 29 / 79) are available to students, trainees, the legally disabled (“Schwerbehindert”) and those receiving German unemployment (ALG2).
