Vienna Ensemble Pro 8 Now Available, Here’s What’s New


Vienna Symphonic Library shared this overview video to introduce Vienna Ensemble Pro 8 and Vienna Ensemble Pro 8V.

Vienna Ensemble Pro 8 offers a variety of new features, including:

  • Group Edit – Synchronize mixer presets, tuning tables, and controller settings across all Vienna Synchron Player instances.
  • FX Plug-ins – Includes all Vienna Suite Pro plug-ins, plus the new Synchron Stage Reverb SO convolution reverb for world-class spatial depth.
  • Crash Protection – Prevents faulty plug-ins from blocking or interrupting template loading.
  • Activity Monitor – Detect performance issues with sortable latency and CPU load values for instances, channels, and plug-ins.
  • Plug-in Pooling – Speeds up switching between cues with similar setups by reusing loaded plug-ins for dramatically faster workflow.
  • Channel Sets – Load entire sections or custom setups from the new Channel Sets Library with a single click for fast template creation.

Vienna Ensemble Pro 8V – Audio Meets Picture

Vienna Ensemble Pro 8V adds an integrated video engine that lets you stream video, even from remote machines, with minimal CPU impact.

Features include fluid GPU-accelerated playback, multiple timelines with individual frame rates, streamers and markers, flexible routing, audio offset and timecode controls for perfect synchronization with any DAW, and convenient export options.
