Today, Waves Audio introduces Illugen, an AI-powered desktop app that synthesizes one-shot, loop and sfx samples based on your text prompts.
Here’s how it works:
Enter a text prompt, like you are searching for a sound;
Select one-shots, loops, or SFX;
Illugen will directly synthesize an original sample;
Drag and drop the sample to your DAW.
Illugen outputs standard 16-bit, 44.1kHz WAV files.
Watch the intro video, embedded above, for a preview of how it works.
Illugen is available now via a subscription model, with basic service starting at $7.99/month.
Samplab has launched Resynthesizer, a new software synthesizer, for Mac and Windows, that they say combines the simplicity of sampling with the flexibility of synthesis.
Resynthesizer recreates your audio with synthesis, and then gives you control over the sound. You can also create new sounds by blending two samples with a seamless transition.
Resynthesizer is available now with an intro price of $77.99 (normally $129.99).
