Yezzmod Audio QUADSCOPE Eurorack Oscilloscope – Sneak Preview

Yezzmod Audio shared this sneak preview of the QUADSCOPE – a new oscilloscope, tuner and spectrum analyzer module for Eurorack modular synthesizers.

QUADSCOPE features dual timebases, four input channels and four buffered outputs, all in 10HP.

Here’s what Yezzmod Audio has to say about the QUADSCOPE:

“The dual timebase feature makes QUADSCOPE unique when it comes to Eurorack oscilloscopes and we think it’s a game changer. It’s like having two oscilloscopes in the one package (actually, it IS two oscilloscopes in the one package) and allows you to view LF (low frequency) and audio frequency signals simultaneously. To do this without dual timebases would require two separate oscilloscope modules requiring twice the HP, twice the power consumption and twice the price!”

Yezzmod Audio is planning to fund production of QUADSCOPE via a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, which they say will be launching soon. Find out more information on their website.

Switched-On Scarlatti On Casio CZ-101

Synthesist Dylan Pank shared this ‘switched on’ style Casio CZ-101 arrangement of Scarlatti’s Sonata in D minor K.1.

The arrangement highlights the multi-timbral capabilities of the CZ-101 – which are more capable on this synth from 1985 than most modern synths.

Technical details:

“Scarlatti Sonata in D minor K.1, arranged for 4 parts, controlled via midi from Musescore 3, recorded direct into Audacity, reverb and stereo conversion added in Audacity.”
