Following the success of the Alesis QX49 which was released early 2011, Alesis announced the QX series has been expanded to include both a QX25 and QX6, at the 2012 NAMM Show. The Alesis QX25 Advanced MIDI Keyboard Controller features a 25-key version with velocity-sensitive keys, Pitch and Modulation wheels, 4 backlit drum pads, 8 knobs, 6 assignable buttons for triggering software controls, fader for volume or synth parameter controls, USB/MIDI connection, and includes Ableton Live Lite Alesis Edition software.
The Alesis QX25’s traditional interface and MIDI enables the controller to connect to a computer running Mac OS and Windows, mobile devices with iOS or hardware interface with MIDI. The pads enable user to trigger samples, loops and sequencing drums. The keyboard can also be split into sections to control multiple instruments at once. The Alesis QX25 comes with a customized version of Ableton Live – a fresh and easy way to create music. With a 25-note keyboard, the Alesis QX25 is ultra-portable, which makes the keyboard great for performing and recording with software instruments and samplers, and sequencing music right out of the box. The portable keyboard is powered from the bus USB.

Alesis introduced it’s Q49 USB/MIDI Keyboard Controller during Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. The Alesis Q49 is an entry-level Keyboard Controller which is ideal for Students, Studios environment and Stage performances.
The Q49 is a fully featured keyboard controller, with 49-key synth-action keyboard that is compatible with virtually any music software and MIDI hardware devices, USB-MIDI and conventional MIDI jacks for easy connection to your Computer and MIDI device, full controls of pitch and modulation wheels, octave up and down, and an assignable data slider. The Q49 allows you to send velocity sensitive note information from the keys and you can also send program changes from the keys, which is very useful for both programming and performing music.

Alesis introduced its Special and Limited Edition, Alesis micron se Analog Modeling Synthesizer, and announced its immediate availability. The special Blue version is a new addition to Alesis popular analog modeling synthesizer and family. The micron se features eight-voice analog modeling synthesizer, with 37-key synth-action touch sensitive keyboard, more than 600 preset sounds, robust sequencing section with phase, step, and drum, stereo effects, and an arpeggiator, Effects; including Stereo, Reverbs and Delays. Each of the micron’s voices contains two filters, and each filter can be one of the following different types, each with its own character and sonic flavor. Each of the micron’s voices contains two LFOs, each of which offers rate, depth, shape, and tempo sync, and three envelopes: Amp Envelope, Filter Envelope, and Pitch/Modulation Envelope.
